Concrete can be finished in several ways. The most basic concrete is finished to a smooth surface. However, this can be very slippery when wet.

Most concrete is finished with what is commonly called a “broom” finish or “brushed concrete” finish. This creates a slip-resistant surface.

No matter which finish is chosen, the concrete can age to its natural color or color may be added to achieve an individual look according to customer preference.

Broom or brush-finished concrete is used for patios, driveways, steps, sidewalks, etc.
